F.A.Q. 1:

“I may not have a partner? Do I need one for your classes?”

A.Q. 1:

“No, you don’t have to have a partner.  Classes are for both solo dancers as well as partnered. We have group classes and private lessons.  In group classes we rotate partners so you can dance with a variety of people. So you learn the techniques a lot faster that way”

F.A.Q. 2:

“What if I would rather not change my partner?”

A.Q. 2:

“You don’t have to if you’d rather not.  Your teacher should be able arrange it (prior to starting classes).”

F.A.Q. 3:

“I don’t know whether to take private lessons or group classes.”

A.Q. 3:

“We find it’s best to take both. This way you’ll learn the techniques in both atmospheres, more quickly, then you can choose one, or maybe both.

F.A.Q. 4:

“I have never attended dance classes!  What do I wear?”

A.Q. 4:

“You want to feel comfortable when you’re dancing so wear your most comfortable clothing!  Wear sports clothing if you’re doing Solo Dance Exercise Classes - like track pants and shirt. The idea is freedom of movement. Also, a pair of leather-soled shoes are very good on the dance floor.  (If you do a dance class like Salsa or Latin).  We recommend dance store, “Bloch” for the best dance equipment, including shoes, clothing and accessories.  Also, Jazz shoes and sports blouse for Hip Hop classes and low-healed shoes for Belly Dance.  When you go to Bloch, please mention what sort of dance you will be doing so they help you to choose the right clothes and shoes. Also, please bring a bottle of water, a towel, and a BIG SMILE!”

F.A.Q. 5:

“Which LFSD classes should I start with?”

A.Q. 5:

“LFSD offers many classes, and always popular are our SALSA and LATIN RHYTHMS Classes!  as well as INTERNATIONAL / LATINO FEVER DANCE WORKOUT, BELLY DANCE & HIP HOP!.

F.A.Q. 6:

“I’m planning my wedding! Help?”

A.Q. 6:

“LFSD loves weddings!  We help get you in shape for it, and We also offer Special Wedding Packages, including the music and Choreography!   Our job is to make you look good on the dance floor – and you will dazzle them, we promise!”

F.A.Q. 7:

“I’m not sure if I’m in the right age group to dance?”

A.Q. 7:

“There is no age required for dancing. LFSD students cover a range of ages, from 18 to 80!  At LFSD we believe it’s never too early or late to start dancing – for many reasons - health, de-stress, exercise, socialise, and having fun!!  Come on, what are you waiting for?!  Come join the FUN!”

F.A.Q. 8:

“Are LFSD Classes designed for Children?”

A.Q. 8:

“YES!  At Latino Fever School of Dance, we have special classes for children and teenagers, so enquire about these classes.  Everyone is of course more than welcome at LFSD classes!”

F.A.Q. 9:

“I’m wondering how long it will take me to learn to dance?”

A.Q. 9:

“The answer is simple - everyone is different, everyone learns at their own pace.  Remember to practise – the more you do, the better you will be.  The idea is to have fun, enjoy the dancing and get the most from your experience at LFSD.”
